Amenah Mourad is an educational bilingual leader who has worked in independent and public schools.

With close to 20-years' experience she has taught at all levels of education. Her initial employment in South West Sydney captured her skills in catering for students with language backgrounds other than English and the English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD) pedagogies that support student language-learning acquisition. In partnership with literacy experts and classroom practitioners, Amenah has presented workshops across Sydney highlighting best practice.

Amenah has taught across various educational settings and in schools with diverse socioeconomic profiles. She received the Appreciation Award for Commitment to the Well-being of High Achieving students during Australia's inaugural Gifted Awareness Week.

Her broad experience and strong interest in developing teacher capacity has led her to support many teachers during a variety of stages in their careers, ranging from preservice teachers to highly experienced. She has made educational and instructional videos and contributed to educational literature to support teacher development.
